Good Reads

Several distinct book clubs meet either in a café in historic Bordeaux, or a member's home in Bordeaux, on the other side of the Garonne, or on the Bassin d'Arcachon.


Made in France

An opportunity to practice French with a native speaker in a friendly environment and to learn more about a wide variety of aspects of French culture. 


BWC Goes to the Grand Théâtre 

Enjoy outings to the beautiful Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, for performances by the National Opera of Bordeaux, the Ballet and the Symphony.

Members occasionally offer specialized workshops in order to gather and share special interests, such as the Art of Origami. Seasonal workshops, such as wreath or candle making may also be offered.

We have remained diligent in considering the guidelines that have been laid out for safety and we have had some great socially-distant and virtual activities (book clubs, apéro quiz, walks…) to keep our community connected.
